War

So, when isn't there a war somewhere on this rock? I have been here 61 of your years, and to my memory, there has always been a war of some size, somewhere.

The current hot spot, the Middle East is a likely place for serious hostilities. Although, the recent misunderstanding involving Russia could also lead to a rather dangerous confrontation.

Many of the prophecies have specified that serious hostilities will start in the Mid-East, and indeed there is considerable tension there. The Internet data mining has stated that a war between Israel and Iran could start in the 2008 - 2009 time frame. We are nearly through 2008 and there have only been minor rumblings, but my fear is that Israel will not be as patient as they could be and will launch a strike, which will start something serious. This will disrupt the flow of fuel and make energy more difficult to get and more expensive as well.

Let us hope it does not become nuclear as this could start a planet changing event.
